Maui Mallard Trilogy

Also on OpenBOR engine, I'm planning three games about the character Maui Mallard, from Disney Interactive. Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow was my favorite SNES game in childhood and its Mega Drive (Genesis) version is even better (in gameplay terms, the graphics and sound are better on the SNES, in my opinion).

I intent to make games with the following titles:
Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow 2: The Mojo Wars
Maui Mallard Origins: Duck Eater
Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow 3: Threats from the Red Earth

      In "Maui Mallard Origins: Duck Eater" I would like to creat a story about Maui Mallard's trainning and his first mission. It would be inspired on "Metal Gear Solid 3" plot.

      "MMCS 3: Threats from the Red Earth" is the only chapter that I've already decided about the story. It will envolve the characters from the game "Red Earth" and will take place on the original "Maui" islands.

      Discussing and making a sequel with the vk community would be awesome. The problem is I don't speak Russian. If you want, we can create a discution topic about this project, but I confess I won't be able to make it fast.

      Well, platform games are like beat'em up in a "narrow line". If you look at Maui Mallard combat system, it's much more like "Streets of Rage" than "Super Mario World".

      I plan to use conventional beat'em up and other "narrow"/platfrom stages.

    2. Meanwhile I'll keep learning about OpenBOR and pixelart, I may start doing some custom sprites for the games on the next year.

      The first game I intent to do is based on "Heroes of Might and Magic III", because it will be a simpler game and will serve as training. The Maui Mallard games may have some advanced features (the things that he does on the original games, that aren't common on Beat 'em Ups), so it will require more work.
